In February and March of 2004, Richard Durnan, Philippe Wheelock, and Adam George led the first ever Ice Climbing expedition to India's Himalayan state of Sikkim. 11 routes were established between 10,500 and 14,000 feet with difficulty ratings from WI 3 to WI 5 including a mixed line at M4-5.
