In 1992 I made my first trip to Nepal. Of all the images I returned with, the ones of the children stood out to me as the most representative of my experience. They seemed best to capture the essence of the places and people I had visited. The pureness, honesty, and unconditional friendliness of the children set the tone for my entire experience.
Since that trip, I have visited many other countries and cultures. Although each experience has been vastly different, one aspect of every trip I take is the same. I am welcomed with open hearts and sincere interest by the children that live in the spectacular environments I am visiting.
In this collection of images, I seek to share the experience of meeting some of these children. I offer a glimpse, through the eye of my camera, at the children and the places where they work play and live.
